An internal source revealed the cause of Vu Tien Loc’s death as follows.
Vu Tien Loc (born in 1960, from Thai Binh), a member of the Vietnamese National Assembly, Chairman of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC), former Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), died suddenly!

According to the online newspaper VnExpress, Loc suffered a stroke and passed away at the age of 64 at 5 am on August 5, 2024.
However, a source from the family said that he had committed suicide by taking poison, he left a will but did not mention the reason for choosing death. Currently, the family refuses to let the forensic agency conduct an examination.
His wife said that 2 weeks ago he went to a party with the family of former State President and former Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Tran Thi Nguyet Thu. When he returned home, he appeared sad and quiet. When his wife asked him, he replied: “Mr. Xuan Phuc told me to go away for a while.”
The root of the matter was that from the time Phuc was Deputy Head of the Government Office until he became Prime Minister (2006-2021), Loc brought Truong My Lan to meet and introduce his relationship with Phuc, and Lan repeatedly asked Loc to give money and gifts to Phuc.
It is known that Loc is famous for his talent for flattery. Whenever he met a leader, he smiled and flattered in a soulless and emotionless way.
Loc has passed away but the path to prison for former Prime Minister, State President Phuc and former First Lady Tran Thi Nguyet Thu is probably no longer forbidden.
