Sitting in the Presidential chair was considered a painful defeat for former President Nguyen Xuan Phuc. And like Tran Dai Quang, Nguyen Xuan Phuc was unable to defend himself and had to fall off his horse midway.
In 2023, after Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc left his position, the battle for the State President’s chair was considered the most ridiculous battle in arranging senior personnel. Instead of candidates competing for each other, this time, the two candidates for this seat, To Lam and Vo Van Thuong, push each other, whoever fails will be the next State President. To Lam is a martial arts general who, although very aggressive, is very dangerous to anyone, but he is immature in politics.
