Former State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc reportedly stricted from appearing at important events

After Vietnamese State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc was forced to retire, instead of staying hidden and “repenting” for the wrongdoings committed by himself and his wife and daughter, he appeared everywhere, participating in events organized by the Party and State. At almost every rally, conference, and visit to President Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, Phuc was present and he was always in the front row. The purpose of those appearances was to clarify to the public the scandals of him and his wife and children.

On the morning of May 6, 2024, a delegation of Party and State leaders visited President Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (Nguyen Xuan Phuc is the third from right of the first row)

Phuc’s unusual and purposeful appearance was reported to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong. The party chief called Le Minh Hung (Chief of the party’s Central Office) to Hospital 108 where Trong is under medical treatment) and asked Hung to type an official dispatch to send to agencies and organizations after May 14. /2024: Minimize invitations to Nguyen Xuan Phuc to participate in live broadcast events, prohibit reception of international delegations without prior permission, prohibit consulting activities on human resources…

Instead of carrying out the order, Hung assigned Dao Duc Toan, assistant to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, to personally call Phuc to remind.

Former State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc (born in 1954 in Quang Nam), once held important positions such as Deputy Prime Minister and Prime Minister. During his time in office, he always looked for family members and relatives to assign work to, not talented or ethical people. For example, Phan Quoc Viet from Quang Nam, the niece of his wife Tran Thi Nguyet Thu, took advantage of the Covid-19 epidemic to illegally profit from selling substandard Covid-test kits to millions of Vietnamese people.

Tran Thi Nguyet Thu introduced Phan Quoc Viet to Nguyen Thanh Long, Minister of Health, through Mrs. Ky, Long’s wife, to distribute poor quality Viet A Company test kits nationwide. Viet’s wife said that the couple Thu and Phuc received gifts and money from Phan Quoc Viet worth over $21 million.

Nguyet Thu is known as the king of ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) with around 3,000 ao dai sets. She was said to have gathered a group of wealthy women to indulge in debauchery day and night.

Phuc’s first daughter, Nguyen Thi Xuan Trang, born in 1986, pooled capital with Lieutenant General Tran Van Ve’s daughter (who is banned from leaving the country due to investigation of online gambling protection) to open GATEWAY International School, Headquartered at group 34, Tran Lam ward, Thai Binh with initial capital of VND20 billion (now VND350 billion).

When the 6-year-old baby Long died at Gateway School in Hanoi, Tran Van Ve and Nguyen Xuan Phuc forced the Hanoi police to falsify the records and claim that the baby’s death was due to suffocation after being left in a car, but actually baby Long died in the classroom and showed signs of physical impact.

Phuc currently does not dare to return to Quang Nam to live because he is cursed by the people, so he is building a very expensive villa in Tay Ho district, Hanoi.
