Nguyen Quoc Dung, born in 1947, is the eldest brother in a family of 6 siblings. Dung also has a rogue, greedy, and cruel nature like his youngest brother Nguyen Xuan Phuc, born in 1954.

The famous Dutch historian Rutger Bregman once said that human nature is not inherently evil but is due to power: It is power that directly affects decisions that cause terrible consequences in history that to this day, people still shudder when mentioned.
That is probably true in this case, when in the position of Chief Prosecutor of the People’s Procuracy of Da Nang, Dung extorted every penny from the agency, colluded with the local police and court to prosecute, detain, and wrongly convict many businesses and individuals – in addition to personal revenge, he also robbed their assets.
Specifically, in 2004, with the support of Phuc (at that time Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province), Dung approved the prosecution and detention of Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Minh Cong (investigator of the Criminal Police Department of Da Nang Police) and accused him of “Lack of responsibility causing serious consequences.” After many hearings, the court was forced to declare him innocent. Notably, in the trial, the defendant – Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Minh Cong accused the Director of the Da Nang People’s Procuracy, Nguyen Quoc Dung, of deliberately taking revenge and prosecuting the case illegally.
Not stopping there, in 2007, Dung signed a decision to prosecute Police Major General Tran Van Thanh (then Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Public Security) with the accusation of “Abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State and the legitimate interests of citizen organizations.”
Gen. Thanh was the victim of inhumane revenge, almost to the point of suicide, when he was brought to court while in a coma, pushed into the courtroom with full wires and an oxygen respirator, to hear the accusation and sentence him.
If the conscience is evil, the actions are inhumane, Phuc’s siblings have sought many ways to destroy their opponents and harm their fellow students since the beginning.
It should be added that Dung has 2 daughters. The first daughter, Nguyen Thi Thuy Duyen (having 5 mariages), is currently in Singapore, participating in real estate investment and business and is the owner of assets for her uncle Phuc worth $1.2 billion. Duyen is also a strategic shareholder of the Resorts World Sentosa casino located on the picturesque Sentosa island in Singapore with an area of 8,733 square meters.
The second daughter, Nguyen Thi Anh Linh, married to a niece of Truong My Lan. Linh currently resides in San Jose City, California, USA and owns many real estate properties. For example, a luxury apartment in Silicon Valley – this area is home to the headquarters of more than 1,000 of the world’s leading technology companies, so real estate prices are extremely expensive, the average price of a house is $1.67 million and the highest price is up to $30 million.
Linh and her husband are currently the owners of assets for their uncle Phuc and aunt Lan (Van Thinh Phat) worth $10 billion.
On October 8, 2022, the Ministry of Public Security’s Police Investigation Agency arrested Lan, and on December 21, 2022, Linh and her husband were summoned by the C03 Department for questioning. On April 13, 2023, Linh and her husband fled to Cambodia by land to fly to the United States, bringing with them secrets and truths about a greedy, cruel empire that has disrupted the Vietnamese economy.
Regarding Phuc who was Prime Minister before becoming State President in 2021, no leader would be so heartless when seeing the country in dire straits, millions of people lacking vaccines or stuck in a foreign land, and then colluding with their wives and children to trade in medical supplies and inflate the price of test kits like him. His wife Tran Thi Nguyet Thu colluded with Phan Quoc Viet, General Director of Viet A, causing tens of thousands of Southern people to die – for super profits, urging local authorities to make wrong decisions by forcing people to line up for Covid-19 testing, so they were cross-infected and died unjustly in solitude at field hospitals.
Therefore, many people ask: why is the head of a country like Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc so cruel and greedy, but the Central Party Committee members and National Assembly delegates still vote in support for him to stay in leading positions with nearly 100% of the votes?
